Course Registration
Registration and Portal Guide
(For Academic History/Grades etc. follow to step #5)
Registering for Classes
1. Go to my.devry.edu (no www)
2. Log in:
a. Username is your DSI#
b. Default password : Your birthday – YYYYMM (ex. 198106)
c. If your password needs to be reset- Please use the ‘Forgot password’ link.
3. Once your Home Page opens, select ‘Register for My Classes’ on the left side of the window.
4. A new window will open please select ‘DVU OSS Student Self Service’.
**Note: There may be an intermediate page with your name etc. asking you to verify. In this case, review your information, then select ‘Verify’.
5. The Oracle Student System Home will open. This page will show your current semester classes and notify you when current registration is available.
***This is the point where you can also:
Update your contact info (for OSS only - emails also need changed within your eCollege)- MY PROFILE tab
View Grades/ Grade Cards- View Grades/ Academic Record
View Academic History (e.g. transfer credits etc.)- ACADEMICS tab
View Financial Information (Awards)- FINANCIAL tab
6. Click ENROLLMENT tab (upper right) to continue registration process.
7. Fill in UNIT CODE box with course name, (i.e MATH114, GM591, etc.). Click the Flashlight. Quick select desired course.
8. Pick Location dropdown box:
-For Undergraduate On-site: Columbus North (for Polaris) or Columbus (for Alum Creek)
-For Graduate On-site: Columbus North or Columbus South
-For Online: Online/Undergraduate or Online Learning/Graduate
9. Select appropriate Teaching Period from dropdown box (e.g. Fall Semester 06/ January 07).
**Note: Graduate programs- Months/ Undergraduate programs- Seasons
11. Then select GO to the lower left corner of the screen.
12. Search for desired course. Check SELECT box (to the left of course) and click ADD.
**Note: May receive warning to verify location is correct. If correct select ‘Enroll’
13. To add additional courses click ‘Search and Add’, and repeat steps 7-12.
