Vehicle Regulations
Motor Vehicle Regulations
The Motor Vehicle Regulations are designed to maintain convenient, safe and orderly parking for the students, faculty, staff and guest of DeVry. Signs and markings are placed in the driving and parking areas to facilitate ease of parking and safe traffic flow. It is important to all of us that we abide by the signs. A map of the parking lot and additional information not found on this page in regards to parking will be found in your Student Handbook.
Registration
All motor vehicles on campus must be registered and display a DeVry parking permit. You can register your vehicle at the Student Finance Department. You will be given a parking permit after paying the proper fee.
Parking Fee
The purchase price for a permit is $50.00 per vehicle. This is a one-time fee. If you purchase a new vehicle you must bring in a portion of your parking sticker to the Student Services Office to receive a replacement. The student is responsible for lost or stolen stickers.
Parking Permit Display
Permit is to be clearly displayed on the rear window or rear bumper. You are responsible for ensuring that your permit is easily visible.
Temporary Parking Permit
If you find it necessary to drive a vehicle other than the one registered with DeVry, you may pick up a temporary permit in the Student Services Office. Temporary permits are valid for up to five days and limit parking to designated areas only. The temporary permit should be hung from the rear-view mirror and returned to the Student Service Office upon expiration.
Visitor's Lot
Only visitors may park in this area. Visitors may obtain parking permits from their host, the Student Services Office, or the Information Kiosk. Current students and graduates are not permitted to park in the visitor's lot.
